Dewatering Bags

Dewatering Bags

The Dewatering Bag is an affordable, single-use, sediment filter which helps construction managers comply with spill prevention, spill protection regulations and their Total Suspend Solids (TSS) permits. Dewatering bags help keep construction projects compliant with their Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP). By being proactive it will be less costly in the long run and affords the knowledge that a work stoppage due to incorrect or missing prevention products would not occur. Sediment control and compliance during any process that disturbs the natural earth is a priority and all effluent, whether storm water or not, must be captured and treated before being discharged.

The Dewatering Bag is used in applications where sediment laden water is being pumped. The pump hose outflow is attached into the dewatering bag opening. The water that escapes the bag will be filtered to the specification of the bag material.
