Commissioned to provide spill response equipment to sites involved along the Southern USA coastline. Products sourced from multiple countries due to a scarcity in North America.
July 2008 – Agnico Eagle Mining (Baker Lake, Nunavut Territory)
Commissioned to provide spill response and general equipment to this remote mine site.
July 2007 – Kinder Morgan Pipeline Rupture (Barnett Hwy. Burnaby, British Columbia)
Major supplier of spill cleanup and safety equipment to this 24″ pipeline rupture spilling 234,000 liters.
May 2007 – Newmont Mining (Cambridge Bay, Nunavut Territory)
Commissioned to provide spill response, health and safety, sanitary and incinerator equipment, and training for multiple remote mining sites.
February 2007 – Government of Alberta, Environmental (Alberta)
Assisted in equipment specification, supply & delivery of seven self-contained 20’ spill response trailers. Trailers were outfitted with the equipment necessary to effectively respond to land-based and waterborne River and Lake oil spills.
September 2006 – CN Rail, Environmental (Canada)
Provided assistance and equipment to CN Rail, ensuring strategically placed spill response trailers are properly and adequately updated and provisioned.
August 2005 – Train Derailment Spill, CN Rail (Lake Wabamun, Alberta)
Emergency delivery by chartered aircraft of equipment, supplies and personnel to this remote site. Remained as primary supplier to CN Rail and response contractors for the duration of spill cleanup.
February 2001 – Casco Terminals (Vancouver, British Columbia)
Emergency Response provided to the Vancouver Port Authority for a late night, onboard bunker fuel spill that fouled containers in a ship’s hold. Rocky Mountain provided management personnel and response equipment to the contractor.
August 2001 – Pembina Pipeline Spill, Pine River (110 km upstream of Chetwynd, British Columbia)
Emergency supply and delivery of large quantities of response equipment and supplies to a major pipeline rupture of light crude, approx. 6200 barrels. Rocky Mountain continued to act as primary supplier for the duration of cleanup activities.
September 1999 – Kemess Mine Spill (Thutade Lake, British Columbia)
Responded to a major spill at Kemess Mine site. Coordinated an emergency airlift of oil spill response equipment and supplies to the spill site, remained on call for response duration.
